Parking

School of EECS Day

Employers should register for a virtual parking permit for this event (free of charge) through Penn State Transportation Services. This permit is valid for only one vehicle at a time in the Nittany Parking Deck, and only for the date of this event.

If you are driving your personal car to campus, we recommend registering in advance of arrival; if you will be driving a rental car, please wait until you have picked it up, since you will need the license plate number, make, model, and color to complete the parking permit form.

To register for the permit:

  • Access the permit for this event.
  • Create a new visitor account or log in to an existing visitor account.
  • On the permit description page, check the boxes to agree to terms and site usage and select Next.
  • Add the relevant information about the vehicle you are driving and select Next
  • Check the Select box to confirm the information for the vehicle you are driving and then select Next.
  • Select Submit Payment to complete your transaction (your payment amount should be $0).
  • You will receive a receipt for your virtual permit.

A digital copy of the permit will be emailed to you. This parking deck uses license plate recognition technology, so no paper parking pass is required. However, you are strongly advised to either print a copy of the digital permit (and bring it with you) and/or screenshot it on your mobile device to provide a secondary credential to use at the parking deck. Presentation of a permit is required when the deck is advertised as full. If you pull a ticket to enter a deck, or park in a deck outside of your permit's validity, you will be fully responsible for the associated fees.
