NETWork Virtual Engineering Fair

October 6, 2021
1:00–5:00 p.m. (ET)
via Brazen Careers

The NETWork (Nurture Engineering Talent) Virtual Engineering Fair was created to meet both employers' and engineering students' desire for a virtual engagement activity in fall 2021, recognizing that some employers and students may be unable or unwilling to attend in-person activities due to health concerns, travel issues, campus location, or other reasons. Like other college-wide activities, this virtual fair aims to connect employers with students from a variety of engineering majors and Penn State campuses for networking and recruiting.

Fees and Payment

Standard registration ($500.00) includes unlimited representative accounts in your virtual booth. Employers who choose standard registrations for both this event and the Fall Engineering Networking Reception will get a discounted combined rate of $750.00 for the two events.

Sponsor registration ($1,000.00) for the event includes a virtual booth on the first page of the event and your logo featured on the website, student searchable database, and other digital media. It also includes unlimited representative accounts in your virtual booth.

You can pay either by check or by credit card.

To pay by check, make the check payable to "Penn State" and mail it to:

  4. Scroll through the list to find this event and select Registered.

Cancellation Policy

Registrants may cancel by August 1 for a 75 percent refund. Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for this event for registrants who choose not to participate and do not notify our office prior to the cancellation deadline.

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In this situation, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for participants' other costs, charges, or expenses.

Virtual Booth Setup

Employers will be responsible for building the information in their own virtual booths. You will receive email notification from Penn State (along with an automatic email message from Brazen) when your booth has been created.

You can learn more about how to use Brazen Careers prior to the event.

Suggested Attire

We recommend wearing a top featuring the logo of your company or organization if possible. Otherwise, business casual attire is appropriate.

Tips for Success

  • Ensure that all participating representatives from your company or organization know how to use Brazen Careers prior to the event.
  • Plan for appropriate staffing throughout the event to engage with students.
  • Position yourself in front of a plain, non-distracting background or, if you use a virtual background, choose something simple (ideally, that features your company or organization logo).
  • Log into the event a few minutes before it starts.
  • If possible, leave your video camera on throughout the event.
