The Fall Engineering Networking Reception is a great opportunity to start building your professional network! All engineering students are welcome. There is no fee for students to participate.

Attire is business professional. 

To prepare for this event:

• Research participating employers of interest by looking at their websites and social media. 
• Look at the event planogram [PDF] to find out where your targeted employers will be located so you can maximize your time at the event. 
• Practice your 30-second introduction/elevator pitch—including your name, student status (first-year, graduating student, etc.), major and minor, professional interests and goals, and reasons for interest in the company—so you are ready to make the right first impression on recruiters.
• Prepare an up-to-date résumé. Take 8–10 printed copies with you in case an employer you are interested in requests one.
